In the early 2000s, many soap bars were small, tallow-based, and relied on artificial foaming agents to create lather.
Our founder, John Apperley, saw a place in the market for a chunky pure plant oil soap bar, one that felt more substantial in the hand, lasted longer, and created a rich creamy lather without relying on harsh additives.
From humble beginnings at local market stalls, Australian Botanical Soap has grown into a brand enjoyed by customers around the world.
