Why We Removed EDTA

Australian Botanical Soap bars are made using high-quality plant oils and carefully selected ingredients.

Tetrasodium EDTA has traditionally been used in soap manufacturing to help maintain color and appearance. However, growing concerns about its environmental persistence and potential impact on waterways have led many retailers and health stores to restrict its use.

We reformulated our soap base to remove EDTA and HEDP, choosing a more natural and environmentally conscious alternative — while maintaining the rich lather and quality our customers expect.

Better for your skin. Better for the environment.
